Vocabababble: baculum

This from a racoon.

From a polar bear.

Most mammals have them. Chimps have them but humans do not. Also absent in equids, monotremes, marsupials, lagomorphs, hyenas, and cetaceans (whales, dolphins, and porpoises), among others. Useful for having extended intercourse. Why don't humans have them anymore? Too quick?

A penis bone.
Elephants have them.
