*bivalent human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV2) licensed for use in females 10/09
*for women aged 19 through 26 years, HPV2 or quadrivalent HPV4 mb used
*new permissive recommendation for use of HPV4 in men (you can have it if you want it)
*MMR footnote revision now notes that adults born before 1957 generally are immune
*clarification about which adults born during/after 57 may not need the MM part
*interval dosing for second dose of MMR: give 4 weeks after 1st dose
*women who have not received a rubella vaccine should be given the MMR series
*healthcare personnel born before 1957 should be vaccinated routinely and during outbreaks
*seasonal flu is discriminated from pandemic form
*hepatitis A: new indication for those who will contact an international adoptee
*hepatitis B: 3 dose schedule
*meningococcal: conjugate vaccine preferred for adults 55 or less, polysaccharide for adults 56 or more, for adults previous vaccinated with either they're recommending revaccination with conjugate form
*H influenzae type B: new info on which high-risk persons should get a dose
