Voting Machines

One THIRD of precincts in this US midterm election will be using new voting machines. Maybe that's why Shrub is so confident. Heh. One third is a lot. I wonder who got rich off that installation? I wonder: can they program those machines to do their bidding without getting caught? All you computer people out there, what do you think? Could another election be stolen with barely a whimper from the people?

The answer to that question, unfortunately, is yes. Check out this post of mine: http://neptunia67.livejournal.com/tag/vote (read the article that is linked)

Most of them will probably NOT be tampered with, but you never know.

Yikes! This guy makes it sound easier than I thought to hack an election.
