There was a gunshot that happened a fraction of a second before I turned on the bathroom light. I went ahead and showered, figuring that at least I hadn't been shot, so I could. Just now got out of the shower to hear that there's been something going on out in the street in front of our building. Suzanne has been watching the people out of our second floor "crow's nest" window. There's some guy out there talking on his cell phone talking in excited tones. I'm not too worried about it--it is Halloween after all. It could be a prank.
