Eating Well My Patootie

So the other evening I had the opportunity to pick up a nice glossy magazine called EATING WELL: WHERE GOOD TASTE MEETS GOOD HEALTH. I gobbled it down, hoping to learn something new. What I learned is that EATING WELL's editors:

-endorse the use of canola oil
-endorse the use of splenda!
-believe in the RDA for nutition
-print recipes with corn syrup in them!!!
-don't include glycemic index in their chart of everything important about food

So basically I find this magazine to be 5-10 years behind the science. My idea of eating well is completely different from theirs.
