I'm not talking about the ignorant rebels who've been co-opted by corporate Republican interests and convinced to vote against their own best interests.  I'm talking about those Tea Party thinkers who know that our government is run by and for big business (not "the people"), and would like to do something about it.

This is what I've been talking about.  The possibility that the left wing and the right wing could reach around the back of the government bird and strangle the business creature that is riding on its back.

The few times I've mentioned to Green Party leadership that we ought to work with the right wing/indie parties to act (in various ways) against the stranglehold the Dems and Reps have on America, the answer has been, Oh we could NEVER work with them, it would leave a really bad taste in our mouths. Apparently I am an outlier even in the Green Party.

For the record, I don't support Bernie either.

you may be an outlier but you are right
It takes time for the unimaginable to become obvious.

I have some hope ... they do listen to me. They just don't always agree with me.

That is great that they respect you enough to listen. It's important that we keep the talkways open. I'm sure you do your fair share of listening too.

Frankly, it is only the dupes in the tea party that i feel any connection too. There is something seriously wrong (morally or mentally) with any "thoughtful" person who has chosen to use the tea party as a vehicle for the expression of his or her frustration.

But, that having been said, i sincerely hope that everyone who can conceive of any reason to vote for Bernie will join me in voting for him, in the primary, in their State Caucus, and, if it should happen that he loses the nomination. as a write-in in the general election. Well, maybe i'll back off on the write-in, Clinton is head and shoulders above anyone on the Republican side.
